World War I Webquest


Directions: Open Microsoft Word. Answer the following questions (please number the questions). Be sure to include your name.

1. Go to http://www.firstworldwar.com/battles/index.htm. Choose a front, and then choose a battle. Write a 5 sentence summary of the battle. Be sure to include the title of the battle, where it was, when it was, who won the battle, and something else interesting about it.

2. Go to http://www.firstworldwar.com/weaponry/index.htm. Choose one weapon. In one paragraph (at least 5 sentences) describe the weapon and explain how it impacted the war (how it was used and why it was important).

3. Go to http://www.firstworldwar.com/source/fourteenpoints.htm. Describe 3 of President Wilson's 14 Points to end all wars (they are numbered with Roman numerals).

When you have finished, please re-read your answers to make sure they make sense. Then, print your answers. Again, make sure your NAME is somewhere on your sheet!
